How to Disaster, Step by Step

  1. Ride up the transition with good speed.
  2. Pop a small frontside or backside 180 above the coping.
  3. Land with the middle of the board on the coping.
  4. Hold the rock briefly with your weight centred.
  5. Push the front wheels down and drop back in.

Disaster Tips

  • The board needs to land square across the coping. Commit the turn.
  • Frontside disasters are the usual first version.
  • Start on a small mini ramp before larger transition.
