How to Frontside Pop Shove-It, Step by Step

  1. Back foot on the tail with the heel hanging slightly off the heel-side edge.
  2. Pop and push the tail forward and in front of your toes.
  3. Jump up and keep your shoulders facing the same way.
  4. Let the board spin 180 degrees under your feet.
  5. Catch it and land with your weight centred.

Frontside Pop Shove-It Tips

  • Your heel does the work. Push with it rather than kicking with your toes.
  • It feels awkward at first because the board spins toward your front. Commit to it.
  • Hardflips use this exact scoop, so it pays off later.
