How to Noseslide, Step by Step

  1. Approach the ledge at a slight angle.
  2. Ollie and turn the board so the nose lands on the edge.
  3. Press your weight onto the front foot to keep the nose locked.
  4. Slide with your shoulders aligned with the ledge.
  5. Turn back and ride away, or pop out.

Noseslide Tips

  • Wax the ledge. Noseslides stop dead on dry concrete.
  • Keep your back leg loose. It just steers.
  • Backside noseslides let you see the ledge and are the easier first version.
